I am a scientist and an artist. My goal in art and science is to spark the curiosity to think about serious planetary scientific issues and to make people smile. Life is short and we should all be allowed to find happiness and have fun. I feel that humans need to be aware of how our everyday actions affect the world around us. As an artist, it is my intention to bring life and fun into science. As a scientist, I model ecosystem functions to better our understanding of the world around us.
